Looking Back can be a good thing:

2022: There is no doubt that 2022 was one of the busiest summer and fall seasons at Sapphire Valley Resort and surrounding communities! The Concert on the Slopes had great music and record crowds. The Resort’s trips and classes were also well attended. Did you make it up?

2022 Autumn Colors Review: The weather set up almost perfectly for brilliant autumn colors! Dry weather and cool to cold nights caused the trees to display amazing reds and yellows all over the valley! Hopefully you were able to explore the area when colors were at their peak. Our 2022 Fall Colors Guide was on target providing color changes based on elevation and a list of all area festivals. Be sure to check it out next fall: High South Fall Colors Guide

Rentals Update: Rental bookings once again were very strong in 2022. There were times on long weekends when only one or two rentals could be found! Planning and booking early is key!!! The High South Media team leveraged the rental bookings on SapphireValley.com and
HighSouthRentals.com several times this season. We recommend paying the small fee for trip insurance! One of our team members had to undergo a series of medical treatments this summer and the insurance took care of the rental which really provided peace of mind!

Winter 2022/23 Real Estate Outlook: The seasonal feeding frenzy is over for now with most seasonal residents and guests back in their winter homes. The next wave of family fun comes when Ski Sapphire Valley opens, hopefully mid-December.

The local real estate market has slowed quite a bit due to uncertainty in the stock market, inflation and recession fears. After several years of quick sales at very high prices, buyers are much more likely to take more time, make offers under list price and request repairs and/or allowances for items found in an inspection.

Here are the current lowest priced offerings in Sapphire Valley: (All these prices are down from our summer report.)
